COMPREHENSIVE LACTATION EDUCATION AND IBLCE EXAMINATION PREPARATION
Training to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
COMPREHENSIVE LACTATION PROGRAMME.
This is a face-to-face in depth lactation specific training course, facilitated by an experienced International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who also has professional Training the Trainer/Adult Education qualifications. The course prepares people for the IBLCE exam as well as enabling participants to provide accurate current and consistent information about breastfeeding and lactation and preparing them to support new families in feeding their babies from birth through the process of weaning. The course will reflect the IBLCE Detailed Content Outline of the IBCLE. The 12 day course will be held over 8/9 months every year during 2 day sessions each of 7.5 hrs duration. Each day of the course is "Stand-alone" so individual sessions can be completed over a number of years and in any order until you have completed the whole series. I also provide shorter examination preparation courses which are 42 hrs (6 x 7 hrs) in duration.
