About Me
I have been working as an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) since sitting my board examinations in 2007. I have supported mothers who wish to breastfeed for over 30 years though as part of my ongoing relationship with Cuidiú.
I have been passionate about breastfeeding since the births of my own 4 children and work hard to ensure that women get the support and help they need to ensure they meet their own breastfeeding goals. I also have a passion for Adult Education and I love to stand up and provide education about breastfeeding to passionate and committed breastfeeding mothers and professionals alike. |
I have close links with other professionals working in the field of breastfeeding both in Ireland and Internationally through attending conferences provided by the Association of Lactation Consultant of Ireland (ALCI) and the International Lactation Consultants Association (ILCA) and also by working on committees related to these organisations.

I was awarded the Chris Mulford Fellowship by WABA/ILCA in 2014 and spent 6 weeks in Penang, Malaysia working with WABA and support groups in Penang.
